Love is ... Celebrating the Success of Others

True love enables people to celebrate the successes of others.

When people experience what love truly is, they love to celebrate everyone's successes - not for themselves but for those who have achieved. In this situation not only does the person who has achieved feel a sense of accomplishment, but the other feels happiness and joy also.

Loving people will encourage and support others to achieve success in their lives. They will be there on their journeys, subtly offering necessary advice, etc, but always out of an utmost respect for the other person. At no stage will they make the person feel inferior, but will help them feel as an equal. It is through this respect and subtle guidance that a true loving relationship will grow and out of this others will feel worthy and successful.

Why is it that so many people have difficulty doing this? Is it jealousy? Is it a lack of personal self-worth? Or maybe it is a competitive streak which sees no bounds?

For whatever way it is, these people are missing something very special, often as a result of life experiences.

These people may need assistance to build their self-esteem, self-worth or an appreciation of where competitiveness begins and ends. The growth process invariably takes considerable time. After all, those who experience true love have, more than likely, developed to this stage over a considerable amount of time - often over many years.

A loving person will take all this into consideration and accept where those people may be at any particular time in their life's journeys. A loving person will not judge these people, but will be there to support and encourage them through the challenges they face.

Being able to celebrate others' successes is a true sign of love! Being able to do so naturally - without question and without looking for something in return - is a high point of love!
